Turing Web Design and Development

The Turing company is a web design and development company where the customers needs always come first. CEO Naomi Maldonado named the company after Alan Turing. The man who many credit with the invention of the first computer during the second world war.In which of course , we would have not have internet, therefore the development of web pages today. Turing's mission is to provide our customers with a clever and fun interactive website while still remaining professional and satisfying the purpose of the website and the overall needs of our clients.

Hilary Clinton's New Logo

I like Hilary Clinton's new logo, I think even though it is very simple it's very unique. I defiantly think this logo is much better than the presidential logo from 2008. I only thing I don't like about the logo is if it was to be shown alone without anybody knowing it was Hilary's Campaign logo it could be confused for a hospital. That's just my opinion, other than that I like it a lot.

filled in with different colors and highlights. I really enjoyed working on it. I'm working on another one.this is my first time working with illustrator so I think I did pretty good.

Logos

I have three favorite logos that I can't seem to decide between.

The first is the Michael Jackson Logo for the Michael company. I think this logo is very original, and of course being a Michael Jackson fan it reflected his dancing. I also like the feet moving to the right with the lights following them.

Second is the NBC logo, I like all the colors and I like waht I thought was a very unique shape until somebody told me the shape is after a turkey. (I never knew that before)!

Lastly, is the Google logo. The only reason why I love this Logo so much is because Google is always finding new ways to be creative and make different things out of the word Google, or how they decorate the word to celebrate different occasions.

So last week in class all of us did a practice movie poster with all some of the images that were given to us. However when I was done I HATED IT!!!!So, this week I had the time to make a new one using new Photoshop skills. I really worked hard on this one and I love it so much more. Enjoy!

Functioning Invention

For my functioning invention I invented a microwave cooler. So we have all had those instances where we warm our food up in the microwave and we take it out and it is way to hot. so, the microwave-cooler is a compartment right next to the microwave where you can cool your food instantly and it just as easy to work as a microwave!

Non- Functioning Invention

So it's a little crazy, but for my non-functioning invention I created this thing called a Universal Beautician where one size and style fits all and the reason it's non-functional is because a person will put on the helmet without any makeup and come out looking even worse than they did before.

My first assignment in Graphic Design I class. I really don't like it. Hope the next assignment goes better.

What is your computer experience?

I have been working with computers almost all my life weather it is fixing something for my mom or fixing hardware. I recently became experienced with HTML, CSS and some Java script and I am still continuing to learn with Codecedemy.com I am also about to get a Web Design and Development internship.

What is your experience with Photoshop and Illustrator?
I have recently become experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, among many of the things I've recently learned are how to make rollovers splicing, editing images are among the few.

I do have a computer at home, how ever it does not have photoshop or illustrator, however I do have access to computers that do have them

One day I want to become a teacher and help other adults earn their High School Diploma.
I learned I wanted to do this by earning my High School diploma and tutoring other adults while I was there. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher; at first I thought I wanted to teach Pre-K and elementary school , but after getting a little sister and volunteering at a daycare center for two days...I changed my mind.
